Certified Organic Grass-fed/finished Red Angus

Windhorse Farm is a certified organic beef farm located in Glenora, part of the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. The farm is dedicated to raising the finest beef while stewarding the health of the whole farm.

Windhorse is home to the Mock family, including two dogs, a horse and pony, and a beautiful herd of Red Angus cattle.

We share the farm, which borders the TransCanada Trail, with a wide variety of wildlife including song birds, swallows, ravens, raptors, and Rudy, our resident humming bird, along with rabbits, snakes, bats, salamanders, frogs, toads, deer and the occasional black bear.

Windhorse Farm is a member of the Island Organic Producers Association (IOPA, Farm #1902), and is certified to the IOPA guidelines and the Canadian Organic Standards.
