Windhorse Farm is located in Glenora, part of the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. The farm is dedicated to growing fine forage crops, while regenerating soils and stewarding the health of the whole farm.
We share the farm, which borders the Trans-Canada Trail, with a wide variety of wildlife including song birds, swallows, ravens, raptors, along with rabbits, snakes, bats, salamanders, frogs, toads, deer and the occasional black bear.
Windhorse Farm is a member of Regeneration Canada, a non-profit focussed on land management practices that improve soil health in order to mitigate climate change, restore biodiversity, improve water cycles and support a more productive and just food system1.
